Sainsbury's: Sutton Coldfield's Homebase store will be shut before Christmas


Sutton Coldfield’s Homebase store is expected to close by Christmas.
The DIY stores will be converted into Sainsbury's supermarkets.

The store in Sutton Coldfield will pull the shutters down before the end of the year.
Eight others across the UK will also close. Some are already displaying closing down sales.
Sainsbury's plans to have the first of its new supermarkets open next summer, and hopes all sites would be converted by the end of 2025.
