Most jobs have been lost at a vehicle rental and contract hire company after it collapsed into administration.

Timothy Vance and Samuel James Woodward from EY-Parthenon's Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy team were appointed joint administrators of Prohire Limited and Prohire Group Limited on Friday, 27 June 2025.
Prohire provided contract hire, fleet management, and vehicle rental services, managing around 3,400 cars, vans, trucks, and trailers. Prohire Group Limited served as the parent company of Prohire Limited.
The group employed 80 staff across several locations, with its main headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent and an additional site in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, Insider Media reports.
