The new Popeyes will be located at 66 New Street, joining the ranks of Wingstop and KFC, which are situated at numbers 62 and 63. Popeyes’ menu is not limited to chicken wings and tenders, but also includes breakfast wraps and sandwiches.
Earlier this year, Popeyes launched a delivery-only kitchen in Birmingham. The brand, which made its UK debut in 2021 with a London store, has announced plans to open 30 more locations in 2024.
Popeyes has plans to kick off the launch of its Birmingham location with a series of celebratory activities, the specifics of which are yet to be announced. While there is no confirmed opening date as of now, the goal is to be operational by this summer.

"The New Street restaurant has been a target location for us since we landed in the UK and this opening forms part of a bigger plan for Popeyes in the West Midlands. We're looking forward to announcing further locations in the region very soon."
