New US restaurant Shake Shack 'opening soon' in Birmingham Grand Central

Birmingham’s culinary scene is about to get a major boost with the arrival of the popular US burger chain, Shake Shack.

The new restaurant is set to open at Grand Central, in the shopping centre’s upper mall.

Shake Shack, known for its 100% Aberdeen Angus beef burgers topped with their signature ‘ShackSauce’, crinkle-cut fries, and frozen custard, has over 300 locations across the United States.

This will be the first Shake Shack in Birmingham, adding to its existing branches in London, Cardiff, and Oxford.

According to QSR Media UK, the new Birmingham location will offer seating for up to 84 guests and will feature the brand’s core menu, including breakfast burgers. Additionally, there will be special menu items unique to the Grand Central location

The restaurant is expected to open its doors in Q4 2024, with diners eagerly anticipating the launch as early as October.

The Bullring’s announcement on social media has generated excitement among Birmingham’s burger lovers.
