The site was previously home to the GKN factory on Old Walsall Road, which was demolished in 2014.
Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s had planning approval to take over the land back in 2013 but pulled the plug on building a new store citing a ‘significant change’ in the grocery market.
With the arrival of warmer weather, Greggs has introduced two new pasta pots - Piri Piri Chicken Pasta and Pesto & Mozzarella Pasta, along with improved recipes for some returning menu items.
