In 2023, CAMRA chairman Mark Parkes called The Gunmakers Arms one of Birmingham’s most underrated pubs. He praised it as a community and art hub with frequent exhibitions, live music, and open mic nights, saying, “Places like that are doing everything they can to stay solvent at a time when the footfall is diminishing.”

The pub is renowned for its warm atmosphere and unique features, including a newly refurbished kitchen offering Chinese, Thai, and Southeast Asian cuisine.

The sale includes the adjoining Two Towers Brewery, known for its traditional brewing methods and a variety of real ales.

The Gunmakers Arms also supports local art, comedy, and live music acts, making it a cornerstone of the community. With seven rooms for hire and a self-contained flat generating rental income, this pub offers a unique opportunity for potential buyers.

Currently listed at £80,000, the sale includes both the pub and the brewery, with the option to extend leases for up to 10 years.

This historic pub is just a five-minute walk from Snow Hill Station, making it an attractive investment for those looking to own a piece of Birmingham’s rich history
