A virtual reality attraction in Birmingham has closed its doors after being open for just one year.

Hide AdAccording to reports, The Park Playground has closed its venues in Brindleyplace, Birmingham and in Leeds' Falcon House.
The Business Desk has reported that five staff have been axed with the UK closures. The Brindleyplace venue opened its doors in June 2023 but is no longer in business after it closed in August.
The immersive VR arcade in Brindleyplace wasl the first venue of its kind in the West Midlands.

Hide AdAfter its success in Europe and UK debut in Leeds at the end of last year, the VR activity began its expansion across the UK in 2023.
First launching in Belgium in 2018, The Park Playground, already has 12 locations across Europe as well as a new venture down-under with its first Australian location just opened in Brisbane.
