The location of a former craft brewery and tap room in Digbeth is available to rent. The brewery - which was a key player in Birmingham’s craft ale scene - closed its doors in January 2023.

The property operated as Dig Brew Co. from December 2017 until January 2023. It was an iconic brewery that created more than 250 different beers during its 6+ years in operation.

Aside from making its mark for craft ale, Dig Brew also established itself as a popular venue which opened to the public and hosted private functions with live music and was popular for its sourdough pizza.

Owner Oliver Webb had said: “It is with a really heavy heart, and thumbs that don’t want to type that I have to inform you that Dig Brew cannot carry on any longer and we will no longer be open to the public.

“To everyone who supported and even more so to those who gave their best to the team over the last 5.75 years thank you will never cut it. Life changing and amazing things happened in there and I am really sorry I haven’t been able to do more to keep it going.”

The property is available to let for a premium of £75,000 which includes much of the brewery equipment.

Andy Tudor, Divisional Director of Fleurets Midlands commented: “The former Dig Brew premises presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator with brewery history.

“The location of the property gives it a real advantage due to its location as its within the vibrant Digbeth area of Birmingham. It is also within walking distance of legendary Custard Factory one way and Curzon Street (hub of HS2), so the potential of local footfall is very high.”
