Emma Hewitt, a Business Awards Adviser, is used to celebrating her clients’ award success, but in February she will be celebrating her own business boost from Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.

Emma was one of six weekly winners of ‘Small Business Sunday’ to gain a repost by Theo to his over half a million X and Instagram followers. The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 4,000 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings.”

Anyone looking to take part should post to Theo on X, Instagram or LinkedIn between 5 PM and 7.30 PM and include the hashtag #SBS. All #SBS winners are invited to attend an annual event at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.

Emma said, “I am really looking forward to attending the event as a winner, after being fortunate to attend as a guest many times. It will be great to catch up with other business owners, make new connections and meet Theo for my certificate presentation.

Business awards are a great way to boost confidence and visibility. I help small business owners to elevate their business by building an awards strategy that will maximise their opportunities and success. I love helping people to recognise and celebrate their achievements.”
