Iconic listed Baskerville House in Birmingham hits property market


A landmark Birmingham office building which dates back to the 1930s and fronts one of the principal public squares in the city centre has been placed on the market for about £50m.
ACRE Capital Real Estate has launched the sale of Baskerville House, a grade II-listed property which totals more than 195,000 sq ft, on behalf of Federated Hermes.

Hide AdLocated in the historic Centenary Square, Baskerville House is located a few minutes’ walk from Grand Central and New Street station.
Directly opposite Baskerville House is Arena Central, a 9.2-acre mixed-use development which is home to the headquarters for HSBC personal and business banking operations, the HMRC headquarters and the new multi-functional building for the University of Birmingham, The Exchange.
University College Birmingham struck a deal last year to take 45,000 sq ft of space at the iconic building last year, with other tenants including Network Rail and Kaplan Financial.
