West Brom have been tipped as the ‘perfect destination’ for a Manchester City starlet who could make a loan move away from the Premier League leaders this year. Elsewhere, Wolves are apparently open to selling a player who has been on loan at Birmingham City this season. Here are the latest West Brom and Birmingham City transfer news headlines on Wednesday, May 17:

West Brom tipped as ‘perfect destination’ for Man City starlet

According to Football League World, West Brom would be the perfect loan destination for Man City starlet Carlos Borges next season. The Portuguese youth international is said to have been ‘on fire’ for City’s youth side this season and a move to the Hawthorns could be a good deal for all parties involved.

The report claims that the 19-year old is a player who ‘should really be on the radar’ of the Baggies as they look to secure a return to the top flight next year. It is believed he would be a great addition to Carlos Corbrean’s current wide options and the fact a loan move shouldn’t be too costly is of course another positive.

Wolves ‘open to selling’ Birmingham City loanee

Wolverhampton Wanderers are open to selling Dion Sanderson on a permanent basis this summer, according to Football League World who reference reports from The Athletic. The defender has spent the past season on loan at Birmingham City, his second loan spell at St Andrews, and the Blues are thought to be one Championship clubs who would be keen on a deal.

It is reported that the 23-year old seemingly doesn’t have a long term future at Molineux which has alerted teams in the second tier to his availability. City are said to have ‘made their interest known’ but competition for his signature is expected to be fierce.
