Final predicted Championship table sees shock relegation battle outcomes for Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle

How the Sky Bet Championship table is predicted to look after the final day of the 2023/24 season.

The conclusion of the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season is now within reach with all 24 teams in action at 12.30pm this Saturday for their final fixtures.

There’s still plenty to play for in three of the major battles as the second automatic promotion spot still isn’t secured, nothing is certain at the bottom end of the play-offs and two of up to five teams could still be relegated.

West Midlands clubs Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion both face huge clashes for contrasting reasons. It’s out of Blues’ hands in the bottom three fight, so a win against Norwich City potentially not enough to survive the drop. Albion, meanwhile, know three points - or maybe even a draw - against Preston North End will secure the play-offs.

It’s not just the sixth place that matters for West Brom, though, as leapfrogging Norwich City to achieve fifth would earn a more favourable semi-final clash. Carlos Corberan’s men will be desperate for a victory at The Hawthorns as a result.

Which teams, then, are expected to come out on top in the respective battles? Based on thousands of computer simulations, here’s how the final 2023/24 table is predicted to look.
